1. BOOKING, FEES, AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1.1. Appointment Booking & Payment Processing

All appointments for holistic sessions and psychotherapy support must be booked and paid for in advance through our online system. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. Holistic Giant does not store or have access to your raw credit or debit card data. By booking an appointment, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of booking.

1.2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Window

We operate a strict 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. If you need to cancel or change your scheduled session, you must do so at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of your appointment. Changes made via our booking system or by direct email outside of this 48-hour window will incur no penalty.

1.3. Late Cancellations and No-Shows

If you cancel or attempt to reschedule an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice, or if you fail to attend a scheduled session ("no-show"), the full session fee remains strictly non-refundable. This is because your appointment slot was reserved exclusively for you and cannot be reallocated to another client at short notice.

1.4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds for cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice will be credited back to the original payment method used via Stripe. Please note that while we process approved refunds immediately, it may take 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear back in your bank account or on your card statement, depending on Stripe and your financial institution's processing times.

1.5. Service Availability and Practitioner Cancellation

In the rare event that Holistic Giant must cancel your appointment due to unforeseen emergencies, illness, or technical failure, you will be offered the choice of a full and immediate refund or a priority rescheduled slot.

1.6. Independent Practice & Crisis Disclaimer

By booking a session, you acknowledge that the services provided consist of independent, private psychotherapy and holistic wellness support. Holistic Giant operates as an outpatient practice and does not provide emergency medical, acute psychiatric, or clinical detoxification treatments. If you are experiencing an acute mental health crisis, severe physical withdrawal symptoms, or immediate medical distress, you must contact emergency services (999) or NHS 111 immediately, as my private therapeutic framework is not designed to support emergency acute crisis management.
